My name is Aliabbas Sherally ( Pronounced as Ali-Abbas Sher-Ali). Friends and family call me by my first name or Ali, or Abbas or my Last name.
In the end, a name is just a name, it's what you do with yours that matters.

Third, Why this website exists...
This website is a journal/blog of my learning journey into the field of Design.
I am currently pursuing a diploma in UX Design (December 2023)
UX Design stands for User Experience Design.
The job of the User Experience Designer is to make you like and enjoy the applications and softwares you use in your daily digital life.
The User Experience Designer ensures that you have a seamless experience whilst using a software or application, just like this blog post!
User Experience Designers are very very important people and so you should be nice to the likes of us.

SEO stands for Search Engine Optimisation........just in case.
We will now revert to UX Design in reference to User Experience Design. Yes I know, I saw it happen again the same time you did.
Anyway, now that you know what this blog is going to sound like in your head, we can continue from whence we had hithered (mind the puns please).
I have never considered myself to be a designer, however, I understand now that there were always elements of UX Design ingrained into me; or atleast Design Thinking (more on that in the blog later).
I simply did not know it, not till very recently at least.
This journey will help me understand better not only myself but also the new career choice that I have made.
Fourth, So then, What will I be posting?
My learning journey!
This blog is designed to highlight all the aspects of design that I will learn throughout my educational and professional life, mixed with other stuff, obviously.
They would say, back in the day, that the best way to learn is through writing.
So here I am, spending my precious money, on a blogging site (love you wordpress!), putting down all my thoughts and learnings that I will acquire in this next phase of my life.

Believe it or not, I got the above quote from one of my favorite video games (Civilisation).
It is surprising how much learning there is from the least likeliest of places.
I am very excited for this new phase of my life. I hope that my journey into design will be as insightful for you as it will be for me.
